In my contribution, I thought I should put my influences in context of how, and through whom, I was introduced to the music of each influential trombonist. Lucian McGuiness is a musician. He plays trombone. He runs a media lab and studio for Sydney music-makers called Impermanent. He teaches academic classes at AIM. The jury is still out on his Masters thesis.-
